Cognitive Processing Therapy Worksheet
Test a trauma-shaped belief against the evidence.

What it is
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Worksheet is a structured trauma-focused CBT tool for identifying and challenging "stuck points" (distorted beliefs about safety, trust, control, esteem, or intimacy).
Why it works
Trauma often generates overgeneralized beliefs ("I can never trust anyone again", "I should have known"). Systematic challenging helps distinguish between realistic lessons and distorted stuck points:
CPT Stuck Point Shift
“It happened because I am fundamentally defective and unsafe.”
